A year filled with challenges is coming to an end! A year in which the Humboldt Foundation once again showed how valuable international research funding is for our society: New Humboldt Professors will continue their leading-edge research work at German universities, the established Humboldt Professors for AI drafted recommendations for the German government for dealing with Artificial Intelligence, and experts from the research community and political sector discussed measures for rebuilding Ukraine’s science system.

Equipped with a new design and methodology, the Humboldt Rankings show which institutions are currently most attractive to international researchers. Particularly popular among the Humboldt Fellows are the universities in Berlin, Karlsruhe, Konstanz and Munich.
