Extension of the Research Fellowship

The maximum sponsorship period is 24 months for post-doctoral researchers and 18 months for experienced researchers. If the research fellowship was originally granted for a shorter period of time and the research project cannot be brought to a satisfactory conclusion during this period, applications may be made for an extension up to the maximum sponsorship period.
